Cave 2 has a treasure trove of powerful items that will help you in your quest, while Cave 3 has the Big White Skull Bat, the next boss fight you need to beat to continue your journey. Now that you've made it past Cave 1, you have a lot of options: Both Cave 2 and Cave 3 are available to fully explore, whether you're prepared or not. He is guaranteed to drop Range Attack, and has a 1/3 chance to drop the knit, both handy items to equip your new ranger with. The other one is to get the Bow, which drops from the White Skull Bats mentioned earlier, and shoot him from where he can't get you. There are 2 strategies for taking it down handily, One is to simply go down there with strong weapons and kill him before he kills you (Glove and Power Glove recommended for this). (Note that the Big Green Gel, in addition to many other bosses, is completely optional) When you're ready (and if you want to) you can take on the Big Green Gel. Make sure you're level 4 or higher before you fight the bats, since they can easily rip an unprepared team to shreds. With your new team, you can probably show those bats who's boss. Now that you have a second stickman, you have a lot more power (assuming you have a weapon to equip him with.) You have multiple options from here: You can move onward to Cave 2, or finish some business in Cave 1. You can easily win the damage race with an upgraded glove or a power glove. Make sure your health is full, then head to Cave 2 and take down the 3 Big Green Box Snakes. Once you've done some battles with blue and red gel, it's time for your first boss fight. Red Gel are harder and have longer range, but they drop the headband, a handy item that will make your LP a little higher. They aren't too much harder than Green Gel, and they drop very useful items such as Power Glove and Spear. Now that you're ready, it's time to start facing some tougher foes. For example, if I want to upgrade the damage of the melee ranger, I probably want to look at physical and short range. Make sure you check the range and type of your stickman's gear before choosing what category to upgrade. There are multiple different categories to spend SP on when it comes to upgrading damage. I'd recommend spending 10 to 12 SP on health before you start spending SP on damage. Now that you've leveled up once or twice, you might be thinking, what should I spend my SP on? For the start of the game, I'd recommend spending SP on LP, as the extra health will be very useful when you're out fighting enemies and toughing out bosses. You might even strike it rich and get 100 gold at once! Also, the little gold spots on the wall can be clicked on to get some money. Once you've leveled up your glove a couple times and have leveled up at least once, it's time to move on to tougher enemies. While you're at it, make sure to get "Bash", a charge weapon with a 10% chance to drop from Green Gel. I would recommend spending your cash on the glove, so that you can take on tougher enemies. Make sure that you look at your combo meter while you're fighting the gel, because if you can keep it running the whole time before you return to village, you will get a lot of money. At the start, I would recommend sticking with your starter glove because it has a very low upgrade price and can quickly be upgraded into a very strong melee option. These guys are very weak and you should be able to kill at 10 at the bottom before you have to return to the village. At the start of the game, you'll want to head to Cave 1 and start fighting some Green Gel.
